EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

Governed by Practitioners

The Association is led by an Executive Council holding delegated, board-like authority over strategy, operations and standards — with seats structured by value-chain segment so that every part of the market is represented.

Project Development

Finance

Validation & Verification

The VVBs that uphold the integrity of credits.

Legal & Advisory

Academia & Research

How the Council is Composed - Two Routes to the Table

The Council combines elected practitioners — senior figures elected to the segment seats above — with appointees who anchor the founding mission and continuity of the Association during its early years.
An advisory Committee of Elders — senior figures who need not be members — may be appointed to lend standing and counsel, without binding the Council.

A note on the founding period. The Association is openly convened and anchored by the FeN Climate and Innovation Centre, which safeguards the mission during the founding period. These founding arrangements are time-bound by design, reviewed and progressively handed over, by agreement, as the Association matures toward fuller member governance.
